Día de malas noticias y es que sus compañeros en Entombed A.D. ⁣acaban de anunciar el fallecimiento de Lars-Göran Petrov. No por esperada es menos triste la pérdida de este vocalista irremplazable, influencia para varias generaciones y es que su voz, su actitud y su conexión con los fans no están al alcance de cualquiera. El comunicado de la banda es el siguiente:

«Nuestro hermano, líder, vocalista, nuestro Jefe Ángel Rebelde partió anoche. Es, con gran tristeza, que anunciamos que Lars-Göran Petrov nos ha dejado. Fue (es!!!) un amigo increíble y una persona que ha conmovido a mucha gente. Ha cambiado muchas vidas con su voz, su música⁣⁣⁣, su carácter y su personalidad única. La sonrisa de LG es algo que perdurará para siempre en nuestros corazones. Cuando le preguntaron en una entrevista que le gustaría tener escrito en su tumba y sobre su legado, dijo: «Nunca moriré, él nunca morirá». Y no lo has hecho. Vivirás para siempre en nuestros corazones.⁣⁣⁣⁣»

Marcela Bóvio, otrora vocalista de Stream of Passion y colaboradora habitual de Arjen Lucassen, Mayan, Epica o Anneke Van Giersbergen entre otros muchos, acaba de emitir un comunicado en el que comunica que padece cancer. Desde Empire le deseamos que se recupere lo antes posible.
Agradece el apoyo de su familia y parece que a nivel físico no le ha causado excesivos dolores.

Dear friends,
You may have notice I’ve been very quiet lately on social media. And a few of you know this already, but a lot of you don’t so I thought I’d just publish this here. Be warned, it’s heavy news…

I have cervical cancer, and I’m currently undergoing treatment for it. It’s been a nerve-wrecking journey so far, it’s very hard to put my head around it and accept it; but it’s getting easier every day and I think an important part of it is to just put it out there. I’m also very lucky to have family and friends that have provided me with an incredible amount of support ❤️

I’m happy to say that so far the treatment has gone quiet ok and I haven’t felt very bad physically. The prognosis is also very positive, so I hope in a few months I can be free of this thing and share some good news with you!
