Por fín termina. un 2021 en el que se quiso volver a la normalidad y no se pudo. Por fín termina el año con más, posiblemente, de la historia.
Y si hacemos balance a las listas de Empire debo decir, como editor de la web, que es la vez que más sorprendido estoy con los resultados del Top anual, y no porque no esté de acuerdo sino porque es la primera vez que una banda nacional y una banda novel ganan el premio al disco del año. ‘Ultracrepidarian’ de Todomal ha pasado por delante de tótems como Iron Maiden, que es la banda del año, Helloween o Dream Theater. Premio más que merecido para un disco esencial.
Por si no fuera suficiente, Todomal se llevan el premio a la banda revelación para hacer un doblete histórico y siendo la banda votada en un mayor número de listas de colaboradores.
El mejor directo cae en manos de los ingleses Dvne que, a su paso por Barcelona, dejaron un concierto memorable.
